GMail Drive is a third party application that interacts with your Google Mail, aka GMail account, to allow you to store your files online using GMail's allowed storage. Typically, GMail allows around 7.5GB (7500 MB) which is unlikely to ever be used by tiny email messages. By using GMail Drive, you'll be able to make use of this space by adding a context menu item to Windows Explorer, and also a drive icon within My Computer. This allows you to use GMail drive, (once logged into your GMail account) as drag and drop storage that's always available wherever you are.
