KLite Codec Pack Full Beta provides all of the necessary Compressors/Decompressors required to play back the vast majority of video files, streaming audio / video and audio files.

Being in Beta means there's the possibility of software bugs while the new features in this release are tested and perfected. Software bugs however, are unlikely.

KLite Codec Pack Beta is updated roughly monthly, these updates provide smoother video playback, bug fixes and newer added features also new Codecs to keep you up to date with the latest compression technology and latest file formats.

KLite Codec Pack Full Beta also includes Media Player Classic, an excellent cut down media player resembling the old Media Player from Windows 2000 and previous. This cut down player harnesses the power of all the codecs included in the KLite Codec Pack and runs fast, smooth and trouble free.
