MD5 Hash Checker is a tiny Windows application used to validate the integrity of files by calculating the file's checksum and comparing it to a pre-known checksum hash supplied by FileQuake.
By calculating the MD5 Hash of files after you've downloaded them, you can ensure the file is not corrupt and has not been tampered with in transit. It's near impossible to edit the contents of a file without the MD5 Hash changing.
This tiny freeware checksum calculator works on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.
