MobileMe services are now referred to as "iCloud" and this software has now been replaced. You need to Download iCloud Control Panel for Windows instead.
MobileMe for Windows keeps all your Mail, Contacts and Calendar on your Windows computer in sync across with the MobileMe service. Maybe you have a Mac at home, a PC at work, an iPhone, and an iPad. MobileMe stores your email, contacts, and calendars in the cloud and automatically keeps them in sync across all your devices.

One of the most reassuring features of MobileMe is "Find My iPhone" which will pinpoint your lost or stolen iPhone on a map, and allows you to remotely lock your device and even wipe it remotely, keeping personal photos, videos, messages, emails and apps away from prying eyes.

Mail: MobileMe e-mail gives you @me.com email address and manages email in a clean, simple way. The web based interface is attractive and keeps all most used features one click away. More advanced configurations such as email forwarding, rules, email aliases are in the settings menu.
Contacts: Contacts are displayed in a compact way similar to the way e-mail is displayed with a 3 column layout. Allowing contact categories, searching, and quick editing of information.
Calendar: The MobileMe calendar in typical Apple style, is as simple as can be, without lacking advanced features if needed. Set-up multiple calendar instances, such as "Work" and "Home" allowing you to keep things more organised.
Gallery: MobileMe Gallery is very attractive and a joy to use. Allowing you to share albums with family and friends online, and upload photos from anywhere you can access a web browser. Your photos and videos can be protected with a login or password or be available publicly with read or read/write access.
iDisk: MobileMe iDisk is online storage with a difference. iDisk allows you to upload and download files from your iPhone, stream media files from iDisk to your iPhone and store files, password protected or not, in the cloud for access anywhere in the world.
Find My iPhone: Find My iPhone is a life saving feature if you've lost or had your iPhone stolen. Find My iPhone will locate and pinpoint your iPhone on a map, allow you to remotely wipe and lock your iPhone and even sound a 2 minute vibrate and alarm to aid in finding it when you're nearby.

MobileMe requires a subscription fee of $99 per year. A 60 day free trial is available and well worth a try.
